We had been looking for a Compass Corona 462 - 2 berth caravan for some time and found a 2016 model at Chris Jones Caravans earlier this year. My wife initially rang and spoke to Lewis who was extremely helpful. We paid a visit and received a warm welcome from Chris who showed us around the caravan and then gave us all the time we needed to inspect it by ourselves. As it seemed to be in practically brand new and unmarked condition we went ahead with the purchase and arranged to return after the pre delivery inspection and full service had been completed. It is worth noting that not all dealers carry out a service before sale. Chris encouraged us when we collected the caravan to spend a night in it, on the caravan site adjoining his premises at his expense so as to enable us to become acquainted with it as well as ensuring that we understood how to operate all the different systems within it. When we arrived to collect it the caravan was on the adjoining site, fully set up with heating and sound on and all systems operating such that it felt very welcoming. We were assisted by Lewis, who over the remainder of that day and Ben on the next before we left between them devoted considerable time to resolve a number of queries which we had. The caravan was also equipped with a satellite TV dish and control box installed by a previous owner, none of which we were at all familiar with. Ben went to the trouble to find the manufacturers manual and print it off for our use. Before we left we were encouraged to contact them straight away if we had any questions or problems. Whilst we have yet to have our first holiday with it we are confident that it will perform well and that we have a willing and competent company to call upon should we require it.
